Lab Technician - Color

Crown Paint, a leading manufacturer of industrial coatings, is continuing its production expansion and is seeking a dynamic individual for the Oklahoma City, OK warehouse.

The Color Lab Technician assists with QCing all manufactured colors, producing small batches in the lab, and formulation of new colors.

Responsibilities of the Color Lab Technician includes:

· Receiving and analyzing paint samples

· Use laboratory equipment to perform tests for viscosity, flow, cure, hardness, density or other physical tests according to standard procedures

· Ensure procedures and reports related to laboratory work are completed in a timely and accurately documented

· Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment

· Performs other functions as assigned

Applicant must be teachable, dependable, capable of making logical decisions, good math skills, and reliable.

Must be able to lift 60 pounds.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a favorable background check.

Working Conditions: Warehouse/Outdoor working conditions. Exposer to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as paint equipment. Exposer to strong chemicals, such as paint.

Schedule: 7:00am – 3:30pm / Monday to Friday

Pay: $15 per hour
