Crown Packaging is Hiring a Production Supervisor Near Memphis, TN
- Supervising operations within a facility to achieve higher production output.
- Conduct annual reviews for staff performance.
- Support compliance supervisor with safety meetings and professional standards such as occupational health and safety.
- Ensure assigned department and work areas are consistently clean and organized.
- Monitor and prioritize workflow of production to meet all lead-time goals.
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals.
- Evaluating various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
- Enforces company policies and guidelines.
- Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of plant operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
- Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
- Participates in special products and performs other duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.
- Maintains communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
- Associates Degree in business. If no degree at least 2 years of past relevant experience.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and all reporting software).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Sharp production focus with a drive for accurate results.
- Excellent customer interfacing ability.
- Must have a successful performance record in current position.
- Must be able to work flexible schedule as required including weekends.
- Able to sit, walk, move around for long hours at a time.
- Internal employees have had no recurring performance, and attendance disciplinary actions in the past 12 months.
- Internal employee cannot be under a performance improvement plan at time of application.
