INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY – Enterprise Technology Group Security Intern 

The Security Intern will work with IT and non-IT teams to ensure procedural security controls are established and maintained within the organization and complies with various security requirements and industry best practices. The position works closely with the Information Security Officer, IS leadership, and team members to implement and maintain security and compliance across LBMC. The LBMC Security Intern will work in the Brentwood, TN office under the direct supervision and mentorship of a Security expert. This position will be offered as either part-time or full-time (candidate preference) with the opportunity to convert to a full-time direct-hire employee.

This position will work on security-based projects including: 

• Use security software to obtain important data for reporting capabilities 

• Support security operations tasks [i.e., User access reviews, etc.] 

• Formulate recommendations based on security analytics 

• Analyze security problems, design, and assist in interpreting these logs 

• Phish campaign monitoring

WHAT WE ASK OF YOU IN RETURN 

• EDUCATION: A minimum GPA of 3.0 and previous knowledge base of Windows and Web technologies are required. We are open to all technical educational backgrounds and certification programs.
