Job Description: The Consulting Curriculum Manager provides insight and expertise on the full spectrum of learning including needs analysis, adult learning theory, learning trends / best practices, and learning analytics/measurement. Supports Consulting BU strategic programming. Proactively organizes and prioritizes the work of internal and external teams and manages relationships with a diverse team of partners and customers. The primary responsibility of this role includes the following: Learning Strategy & Curriculum Identify critical knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to support client training objectives. Creatively apply extensive knowledge of adult learning theories, user-centric design, and business and organizational acumen to develop innovative and engaging performance improvement programs that align with a diverse and inclusive culture. Work with the Consulting Learning Business Advisor to scope new curriculum projects and develop a calendar for curriculum updates and new courses. Provide input into and execute against the BU specific learning strategy. Act as a liaison with the content development team to develop new and updated content aligned with the curriculum's design. Oversee the development of curriculum in a particular field of study or subject area. Review existing curriculum materials to ensure that they are inclusive, current and relevant. Enhance, edit, adapt existing content to align with Consulting priorities. Curate content from vendor libraries and other sources in alignment with Consulting priorities. Client Work Work closely with content, graphics, and development teams to develop products, achieve cost and quality targets and ensure on-time delivery. Ensure client satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the assigned projects. Provide consulting, and/or project management of learning programs. Project Management Manage the solution design, development, and delivery with cross-functional and diverse teams. Uses excellent communication strategies to build relationships across the firm to bring project responsibilities to fruition to benefit individuals, teams and the firm. Work with design, technology, and learning teams to track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to Learning Business Advisor Leverage project management tools for ongoing project management, adjusting due dates as needed, assigning tasks as appropriate, and providing necessary links and resources so that the team has the tools needed for each task. Create and manage project plans and keep Learning Business Advisor apprised of project status, issues, risks, and critical decisions. Work with the Learning Business Advisor to identify learning outcomes for each project and set the direction for the project. Data Analysis & Measurement Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs based on learner performance or other measures of achievement. Recommend changes to the curriculum based on learner feedback or research findings. Partner with content development team to develop engaging learning activities that can directly impact learning outcomes and application of concepts. Ensure all content and learning activities are mapped to learning outcomes as defined by the curriculum. Key Competencies: Ability to successfully manage and meet multiple, simultaneous project deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to interact with team members and stakeholders in a problem-solving, constructive manner. Ability to create products with extremely high attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to develop and edit content according to specific clients’ needs. Good analytical and problem-solving skills to assess needs and recommend solutions. Develops and maintains partnerships with functions and groups within Crowe. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating the initiative to complete projects with minimum supervision. Excellent written and oral communication skills and solid working knowledge of Office 365. Proficiency in site design and content management with SharePoint online. Ability to work independently and as part of a project team. Demonstrated experience applying principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion across learning strategies and activities. General Qualifications: Demonstrated performance in learning strategy, design and implementation; delivered large scale learning solutions within organizations and educational solutions that have contributed to culture shift. Must be an inclusive and collaborative professional, well versed in working with diverse colleagues. Understanding and application of learning theory and instructional design. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; experience in supporting strategic communication plans and utilizing multiple communication channels required. Demonstrated success in project leadership and program implementation. Proven success at building credibility quickly at all levels of the organization Strong consulting, facilitation, presentation, critical thinking, problem solving and written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) continuing professional education (CPE) requirements and standards preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required.
