We seek individuals to become our unit's Behavioral Health Clinicians I to IV. Responsible for providing counseling services to individuals using a combination of therapeutic and recreational interventions. Internal candidates, please fill out the internal application.

All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conducts patient assessments and obtains all relevant information. Places into appropriate levels of care.

Conducts group, family, and individual counseling sessions. May conduct psycho-educational or family groups.

Administers assessments to evaluate clients’ needs.

Complete documentation in a timely matter according to CTP clinical procedures.

Regularly reports clients’ progress to the Supervisor.

Coordinates and refers to supportive services in the community to supplement treatment and counseling.

You may be required to travel to outlying sites to train and treat patients.

May maintain an OTP caseload and conduct annual updates: CCARs, DACOD & others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

HS Diploma or BA with a CAS Certification.

and/or

Master’s degree in sociology or related field. Must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months after the hire date.

and/or

Licensure:

Requires licensure as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT.

Certify Addiction Specialist (CAS) and a license are preferred. Must be able to obtain CAS certification within 18 months after the hire date.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years working in the mental health field.

Previous substance use treatment experience and expertise with trauma preferred.

Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.

Other:

Understanding of ASAM level of care criteria is preferred but not required.

Solid communication skills.

Proficient computer skills are required, including electronic records.

CPR and first-aid certification. (Initial training and renewals paid for by agency).

Valid driver's license and insurability.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must be able to assist other employees in moving patients. Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and including driving. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

A combination of office and clinical settings with a high degree of patient interaction.

Behavioral Health Clinician I

• HS or BA with CAS Credential $55,000

Behavioral Health Clinician II

• Master's degree with no CAS $57,000
• Master's degree with a CAS $59,000

Behavioral Health Clinician III

• LPCC $60,000 to $65,000
• LAC ranges from $58,000 to $63,000 (depending on the program, experience and other licenses).

Behavioral Health Clinician IV

• LPC, LMFT and LCSW - $65,000 to $70,000
