Job Summary:
First State Auto Group, located in Sante Fe, New Mexico, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Detailer/Car Washer. This is a full-time position in the auto industry, offering a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth. As a Detailer/Car Washer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles are sparkling clean and ready for our customers to drive off the lot.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a salary of $16 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
• Thoroughly clean and detail vehicles, both inside and out, according to company standards
• Use various cleaning tools and products to remove dirt, stains, and debris from vehicle surfaces
• Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets and upholstery
• Polish and wax vehicle exteriors to restore shine and protect paint
• Inspect vehicles for any damages or issues and report to management
• Ensure vehicles have all necessary documentation, such as registration and insurance, before being delivered to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as assisting with lot maintenance and organizing vehicle inventory
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a detailer or car washer preferred
• Knowledge of various cleaning products and techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Must be able to work in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
