Our company has been providing machine shop services in the oil country tubular market since 1979. We are looking for a skilled Accountant to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and payroll tasks.

The Accountant position will be responsible for key critical processes including, but not limited to:

• General Ledger and Job Cost Month End Closing Procedures
• Posting Monthly General Ledger Journal Entries
• Analyzing and Reconciling General Ledger Accounts
• Preparing Account Analyses and Reconciliations
• Assisting with Budget Preparation
• Preparing Cash flow Reports
• Maintaining Fixed Asset and Related Depreciation Schedules
• Assisting with Accounts Payable Functions
• Assisting with Accounts Receivable Functions
• Serving as backup for processing of Payroll, Taxes, Benefits and Other Deductions
• Preparing Bank Reconciliations
• Assisting with related special projects as required
• Performing other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting Required
• 5 years accounting experience
• Payroll and Job Cost Experience preferred
• Candidate should possess strong accounting, communication, analytical, time management, and organizational skills
• Must have a strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Word, Excel and experience with accounting software
