As a Journeyman Painter at CROSS, you will be an integral part of our team, utilizing your advanced painting skills to deliver high-quality results on a variety of projects. You will have the opportunity to take the lead on projects, demonstrating your expertise in selecting the proper finishes, equipment, and techniques to ensure the best finished product. Your attention to detail and commitment to the trade will be essential in achieving our goal of providing exceptional painting services.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate advanced painting skills.
• Possess expert knowledge of color, coating methods, and materials.
• Proficient in wood finishing, refinishing wood, and understanding species characteristics.
• Prepare all surfaces, interior and exterior, with attention to detail.
• Complete touch-ups on or off-site at the Paint Shop.
• Anticipate and evaluate potentially dangerous or unusual situations, exercising judgment for problem resolution.
• Possess and care for all required painter tools as outlined.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Journeyman Painter, or in a similar role (3-5 years).
• Must have previous experience in drywall installation, wall texture, and repair.
• Must possess all painter tools and equipment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to adapt to changing project types and locations.
• Must be physically able to perform various tasks and endure exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, fumes, and moving machinery.
• Openness to continuous changes as the company grows and develops.
