Cross Road Retirement Community is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PCA'S and CNA'S to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. You will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques

- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals

- Monitor and record vital signs

- Assist with catheterization, if required

- Support clients in maintaining a clean and safe environment

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals

- Document all care provided accurately and timely

Requirements:

- Basic life support (BLS) certification

- Experience in patient care, preferably in a home care or senior care setting

- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures

- Proficiency in medication administration

- Knowledge of electronic medical records systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks, Epic)

- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Compassionate and empathetic nature

Pay: $11.25 - $11.75 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
