Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates understanding of physical, emotional, cultural, religious, and psychosocial needs of patients across the life span
- Identifies, implements, and documents patients/family teaching
- Assist in providing a safe, therapeutic environment
- Demonstrates knowledge of Nursing Department philosophy, and assumes responsibility for maintaining Standards of Nursing Practice and Standards of Care for all patients
- Works without direct supervision, but seeks supervision from immediate supervisor for complex issues that arise
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing required
- Active, good standing New Mexico RN license
- Minimum one-year experience preferred
