Description

Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is hiring for a Janitor at the 554-unit apartment community of New Columbia Apartments in North Portland. The Janitor will be responsible for the cleaning of common areas including shared bathrooms, kitchen, lobby, TV room, hallways, elevator, and stairs. In addition to maintaining the grounds, the Janitor is responsible for performing apartment turnover cleaning.

Location: New Columbia Apartments (Portland, OR)

Hourly Rate: $17-$18/hr.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Weekly Contracted Hours: 40

Requirements

What you will bring as a Janitor 

• One year of groundskeeping experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products for janitorial duties. 
• Must be motivated, and efficient, and can follow instructions and work individually or as part of a team.
• The ability to read, write, and understand written instructions and labels on cleaning supplies.
• Awareness and ability to adhere to all landlord/tenant laws, State and Federal Laws, and Fair Housing Laws, and refrain from all illegal discrimination practices.
• Must be comfortable lifting 40-50 pounds.
• A current valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance.
