Full-Time Maintenance Superintendent Responsibilities:

• Maintaining the physical condition of entire property.
• Assist Regional Director of Maintenance in performing his or her duties. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and team.
• Leads and supervises the maintenance team.
• Maintains relationships with other team members and residents.
• Maintains relationships with suppliers, vendors and professionals servicing the company or property.
• Diagnosis and performs all minor, major, and routine maintenance.
• Handles inventory.
• Ensures preventative maintenance and safety protocols are established and met.
• Reports to Regional Director of Maintenance.

Full-Time Maintenance Superintendent Requirements:

• A deep desire to learn and grow.
• Minimum 3 years full-time maintenance experience.
• Ability to supervise, teach, and motivate team.
• Willingness to perform any task that is required.
• Good safety habits.
• Working knowledge of electricity, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of HUD standards “REAC”, a plus
• Familiarity with HVAC systems and various appliances.
• Good communications skills.
• Confident, positive attitude.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people.
• Must have own basic tools.
