```Duties```
As a High School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Providing instruction for chemistry and psychology (senior elective)
- Utilizing learning technology to enhance classroom instruction
- Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a positive classroom environment
- Assessing student progress and providing feedback on assignments and exams
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide initiatives
- Communicating with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns
```Experience```
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Strong classroom management skills, including behavior management techniques
- Proficient in proofreading and providing constructive feedback on student work
- Familiarity with learning technology tools and their integration into instruction
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
