Position Summary: Under the leadership of the Director, Physician Services, the Nurse Practitioner (PA) is an active member of the Physician Services team that delivers medical care consistent with the strategic vision, goals, philosophy and direction of Physician Services and CRHS. The Nurse Practitioner (PA) is responsible for providing care to patients throughout their life cycles (prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric) while emphasizing wellness promotion, illness prevention, care of acute minor illnesses and stable chronic illnesses for all life cycles. Basic Qualifications: · Education: Requires a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS), Health Science (MHS), or Medical Science (MMSc). · Experience: Requires two to four years of work-related experience or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. · Licensure, Registrations & Certifications: Requires and maintains current state license as a Registered Nurse. Requires and maintains current state certification as a Physician Assistant –Certified (PA-C). Maintains a current certification in Basic Life Support (If BLS verification is not current upon hire, it must be obtained within three (3) months of hire.)
