Crisis and Counseling Center is Hiring a Behavioral Health Practice Manager Near Augusta, ME

Description

We are seeking a highly organized and compassionate individual to join our team as a Behavioral Health Practice Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our behavioral health practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and excellent client experiences. The Behavioral Health Practice Manager will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating staff schedules, and implementing efficient processes to enhance the practice's overall effectiveness.

The ideal candidate would:

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize consistency in clinical workflows and streamline processes.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise administrative staff, ensuring a culturally competent, caring, collaborative and motivated team.
  • Address client concerns or complaints promptly and effectively in collaboration with the Outpatient Director and Director of Compliance and Licensing.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure the practice's compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance and upgrading of electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in the development of new content for agency publications including social media and the website, to highlight success, new providers, new services, etc.
  • Establish mechanisms for gathering feedback from the community and clients. This can be done through surveys, social media polls, or in-person events. Use this feedback to refine marketing strategies and improve community engagement efforts.
  • Have strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Have knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Be proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant software.
  • Complete all other related tasks.

Requirements

Education/Experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field required (Master’s degree preferred), equivalent work experience may be considered
  • Proven experience in healthcare management, preferably in behavioral health settings

Hours:

This is a full time (40 hours/week) exempt position. Hours are 9:00am-5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. This position oversees a practice that operates Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm. Availability during practice hours is essential when coverage is needed.

Location:

This position will be based out of our main office located in Augusta, ME.

Pay rate:

Pay ranges from $23.00/hr. to $26.00/hr.
