Job Description

The Regional Finance Director will lead finance for Union Supply and partner with the Correctional Services VP of Finance and President to guide the strategic financial direction and operating results of the business. In this role, you will interact regularly with the Union Supply and Aramark leadership teams. The role is required to be regularly present at Union Supply’s HQ in Dallas, TX. 

Job Responsibilities

Supports and assists in the strategic planning process.
• Leads the financial system integration efforts and identifies operational synergies between Union Supply and Aramark
• Analyzes and compares monthly and quarterly financial results, metrics and key performance indicators against plan and other internal benchmarks, including guarantees, food, labor, working capital and cash flow analysis
• Prepares and reviews monthly and quarterly financial projections.
• Prepares monthly reports including the preparation and coordination of the Monthly Operating Review.
• Prepares and presents periodic performance and financial reports to senior leadership
• Develops and encourages the use of financial models to assess and support good decision-making based on the economic expectations for proposed, projects, investments, new clients and renewals.
• Directs the preparation of special purpose or ad hoc analysis as required.
• Identifies and promotes the sharing of best practices across regions.
• Assesses and provides analysis/support to progress turnaround accounts
 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics – CPA or MBA preferred.
• 7 years or more of progressively responsible finance and accounting experience. 
• Demonstrated experience at the Director or Manager level in a finance or accounting capacity.
• Prior experience leading and developing a staff strongly desired.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, possess sound judgment with the ability to learn quickly while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• The ability to effectively use deliberate influence strategies to impact, shape, or re-direct the behaviors of others, without formal authority.
• Be action and results oriented.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
