SUMMARY

Network Engineer will be responsible for implementation and administration of Crestwood’s enterprise-wide infrastructure, connectivity, and telecommunications systems. This position requires the ability to function successfully in both team and independent work environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS will include the following:

• Configuration, development, documentation and testing of network solutions to meet business or technology requirements.
• Collaboration with other departments to ensure integration of new technology solutions with the existing ones.
• Assist with network migration activities during corporate acquisitions and divestitures
• Assist in configuring computer networks utilizing multi-vendor technologies for access to critical business applications
• Configure and monitor secure encrypted data connectivity using MPLS or VPN technologies.
• Create and maintain network diagrams, SOPs and other documentation.
• Assist in identifying and resolving complex network problems by using a variety of network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, NetFlow, SolarWinds, tcpdump, iPerf etc)
• Participate in an on-call rotation schedule for out of hours network support
• Travel to remote locations up to 15-20% of the time

• BA/BS degree or equal experience in computer science or related discipline.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of related experience in network and operations position. 
• Strong understanding of switching and routing technologies (ARP, VLANs, 802.1Q, Spanning-Tree, PBR, OSPF, BGP)
• Experience with server infrastructure technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, Linux, virtualization)
• Experience with Fortinet firewalls, Cisco switches and Sierra modems.
• Good understanding of different media transmissions like satellite, radio, WiMAX, microwave or cellular data
• Strong expertise in network troubleshooting and operational support.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Proven problem solving, organization and communication skills are essential.
• Recent experience with midstream, upstream or oilfield service company and understanding of economics is a plus.
• Experience with Cisco VoIP administration or implementation is a plus
• Cisco certifications or equivalent are a plus.
• Fortinet NSE4 Certification is a plus

This position will typically work in a climate control office environment.
