Responsibilities:

• Establishes and manages clinical processes and information standards, education, communication and compliance in the delivery of care to the Emergency Department patient population.
• Provides guidance in the integration of team management and development of clinical content, workflow and operational processes.
• Assists with projects related to patient care, medication administration, patient safety, emergency management, electronic medical documentation and data collection and analysis.

Requirements:

• Associates degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Five years’ experience in a leadership role in a hospital environment. Preferred qualities: evidence of excellent interpersonal skills, experience in quality improvement, self-directed, excellent time management and problem solving skills, business acumen, strategic planning, organizational assessment, highly developed leadership and interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities.
• RN licensure in the state of Alabama
• Current BLS
• Current CPI

Experience

• 5 year(s): 5 years experience in a leadership role in a hospital environment

Education

• Bachelors or better in Nursing
