Crescent Title is looking to add an experienced Escrow Officer/Closing Specialist/Notarial to its Hammond, LA office to assist in handling residential and commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the real estate closing and escrow process. Must have experience with real estate closings. All applications will be kept strictly confidential.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages files throughout the closing process and obtains information necessary for a timely closing.
• Prepares/assists in preparation of documents required for closing.
• Coordinates with lenders, buyers, sellers, realtors, and others.
• Assists closing attorney in securing documents that may be required for the issuance of a title policy.
• Completes closing transaction documents, records documents, and performs other post close requirements.
• Delegates appropriate duties to the escrow assistant and manages workflow task for each file.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and title and closing software.
• Louisiana Licensed Notary (preferred but not required).
• Detail-oriented and professional; able to appropriately handle confidential information.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
