Job Title: Leasing Professional
Summary: This is an hourly position that combines sales and customer service responsibilities and provides the training to and mentoring to become a Leasing Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lease apartments to include handling prospect inquiries promptly via phone, internet and in-person and tour prospects effectively to close the sale. Ability to track and lease short term corporate units and ensure units are made ready for incoming tenants.
2. Complete leasing paperwork to include application processing and preparing lease and appropriate addendums.
3. Finalize move-in preparations which include checking apartment for last minute maintenance needs, Functioning keys, paperwork is complete and money due has been collected.
4. Deliver timely and remarkable customer service to property residents.
5. Handle prospect and resident questions, concerns and requests accurately, promptly and efficiently. Interact with all clients in a professional and courteous manner.
6. Prepare weekly owners reports and assist in marketing tasks to include competition surveys.
7. Assist with administrative duties such as filing, audits and tracking log updates.
8. Follow Fair Housing regulations as it relates to leasing and resident service.
9. Assist and attend resident functions as needed.
10. Review and manage leads through Entrata.
11. Manage and follow up on work orders.
12. Create and assist in apartment video tours when needed.
13. Assist the Asset Manager in any way requested as it relates to the responsibilities of managing the property.
14. Complete all assigned trainings in a timely fashion.
15. Perform other duties as assigned.
16. Process and complete renewals for residents in a timely and accurate manner.
17. Prepare and process invoices as needed.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an applicant must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Entrata experience preferred.
Education and Experience: College degree preferred. Leasing experience required. Basic computer knowledge of Microsoft office required.
Skills: Must have good communication skills both verbally and in writing. Mathematical skills to include addition, multiplication, division, pro ration, percentages etc.
Work Environment: Employees are expected to meet property dress code requirements. Personal use of computers is not allowed. Ability to work weekends and respond to emergencies is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 32 per week
