Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This position requires excellent observation skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle potentially challenging situations with professionalism.

Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of all individuals on-site
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activities or security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
- Maintain accurate logs and reports of incidents, accidents, or any unusual occurrences
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and directing them to the appropriate locations
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and ensuring authorized entry
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs

Requirements:
- Valid Security Guard certificate/license
- Proven experience in security or related field is preferred
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Knowledge of first aid/CPR is an asset
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
- Understanding of law enforcement procedures and regulations
- Excellent surveillance skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
