We are actively seeking an experienced Information Technology Test Specialist who will be primarily responsible for supporting the Product Lifecycle Management Capability Support Office, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Wright- Patterson AFB, OH. 

Air Force-Product Lifecycle Management Capability Support Office (AF-PLM CSO) is a multi-disciplined team of government and contactor personnel, tasked to manage and perform the configuration, fielding, training, organization change management (OCM) and sustainment of the USAF’s Enterprise PLM Business Tool, AF-PLM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Validation and Verification support services in accordance with the program’s Integrated Test Plan, program development/sustainment contracts, and PO agile practices. Activities will vary depending upon the current activities of the program/system, scope of the current development/sustainment cycle, and other corporate and program initiatives. 
  • Provide Validation and Verification (V&V) support services for effective management, in compliance with AF SEAM processes including AFI 99-103, Capabilities Based Test and Evaluation; and Major Command (MAJCOM), Center, and Directorate guidance. V&V includes all manner of testing including test and evaluation, demonstration, and certification activities. 
  • Provide test planning support services for AF-PLM Capability Support Office activities in compliance with DoD, AF, AFLCMC and PEO BES test instructions, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to obtain a secret-level clearance
  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and ten (10) years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, five (5) years of which must be in the DoD OR,
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and twelve (12) years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, five of which must be in the DoD OR,
  • Fifteen (15) years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, eight of which must be in the DoD

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to lift 50 lbs.
  • May be required to travel within the organizational geographic area of responsibility
  • Some travel may be required
