Creative Solutions Group is Hiring a Traffic Assistant (FT) Near Clawson, MI
- Accurately documents status of all assigned jobs utilizing internal management software
- Create daily traffic, dock and local trucking delivery schedules
- Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and accomplish objectives with minimal supervision
- Handles stress and pressures of the job without causing undue tension and disruption
- Communicates effectively with supervisors and employees resulting in positive morale and minimal conflict
- Works with Traffic Coordinator to ensure on-time pick and deliveries
- Assist the Traffic Coordinator with routing and truck deliveries as assigned
- Demonstrates a willingness to assist other Traffic related personnel with the completion of their tasks
- Background in the transportation field preferably with vendor coordination experience
- Experience working in a Team oriented environment
- Ability to Learn Fed Ex function and assist as required
- Demonstrates more than a basic knowledge of computers and applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Excel. Demonstrates the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new computer systems, company specific computer programs and other new technology
- Ability to operate office equipment (phone; fax; copier; scanner; etc.) as needed to perform essential functions
- Ability to effectively multi-task
