Creative Minds Learning Centers are licensed child care programs serving the Enumclaw and Buckley communities. We are a small child care program and have an amazing team of teachers. Our students are newborn to elementary age. We are seeking an individual with a fantastic personality to join our team! Someone with a kind heart that can bond well with children. We can teach you classroom management but we need a positive personality to start with =)

We have an organized daily routine, clean up checklists, predesigned curriculum, and schedule to be followed that will take out the guesswork. Our center opens at 6:00am and closes at 5:30pm Monday - Friday. We offer paid holidays & paid vacation closures after 90 days. We are closed major holidays and on the weekends. Half off - free child care depending on qualifications. We also offer paid college tuition!

We are seeking two highly capable individuals to join our Enumclaw team!

Both of these positions are full time teachers with a schedule of Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm. One is for the Infant classroom and the other is for the Preschool classroom. In both positions we are looking for individuals who are professional and dedicated to the overall well being of the students and their environment. You would be responsible for providing meaningful care to your students that include developmentally appropriate education such as play based learning, redirection, creative arts, and language development. This also includes meeting physical needs such as feeding, toileting, and basic hygiene needs. These things are communicated with parents through our parent app and at drop off and pick up. Our environment includes the whole center such as the classrooms and the playgrounds. We take great pride in the cleanliness and organization of our environment. It is an important tool in our ability to provide the highest level of care possible. We disinfect and deep clean the center on a regular basis not only because it is required by the Washington Administrative Code, but because a well-maintained environment provides safety and security for both children and staff.

Infant classroom. Infant children are newborn to one year old. The ratio of teachers to students for this age is 1:4. However, this position would be adding a teacher to this classroom and we like to play it safe by scheduling under ratio. We cap this room at 7 infants with two teachers.

Preschool Classroom: Preschool children are 2 ½ years old to 5 years old. The ratio of teacher to students for this age is 1:10. However, this preschool class is dedicated to children 2 ½ years old to 4 years old. At 4 years old, and depending on their specific developmental needs, they move up to our next class (PreK). This position will also be adding another teacher to the room but again we would cap the enrollment at 18-19 in the whole group with two teachers.

We are a licensed child care center. In order to work in this environment, you must be able to pass a criminal background check before you start, have a high school diploma or equivalent and complete the required state training such as First Aid & CPR, food handlers card, basic STARS training, clear TB test. Most of these items can be obtained upon hire. A is an absolute must.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Have knowledge of child development as evidenced by professional reference, education, experience, or on-the-job performance.
- Ability to work effectively independently and with a team.
- Strong communication skills. You must be able to speak with the parents confidently and be able to communicate their child's daily experience and progress. Saying "they were great" is not enough.
- Have and a valid DRIVERS LICENSE.
- Attention to detail, ability to adapt/ follow directions, sensitive to family situations, and ability to be discreet.

-Strong organization and detailed cleaning experience. We keep our environments very clean to protect both children and staff.
- Fun, knowledgeable, experienced, and creative! Must love to sing, dance, play like a kid, and just be downright silly!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.75 per hour
