Overview of the Tax Staff Accountant Role:
- The Tax Staff Accountant will prepare tax packets and state returns
- Perform month end closing duties and direct annual audits.
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Ensure that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting (a plus) or 2-3 years of Tax Staff Accounting experience
- Detail Oriented
- Great Time Management
- Communication Skills
- Excel: VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, Sub Totals
