Responsibilities of the Sr. Accountant:

• The Sr. Accountant will resolve and book daily, monthly, and yearly journal entries
• Reconcile the higher level and higher risk general ledger accounts on a daily basis, and ensure any discrepancies are resolved
• The Sr. Accountant will help with the full month-end close process
• Assist with all internal and external audits
• Provide support for monthly flux reviews of the financial statements
• The Sr. Accountant will assist the Accounts Payable Manager in escalated AP issues and vendor communication

Background Expected of the Sr Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or experience equivalent
• 5 years' experience in a Staff/Sr. Accounting role
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v-lookups
• Supervisory experience is a plus
