Responsibilities of the Cost Accounting Manager:

• Manage cost accounting function, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze manufacturing processes for cost optimization.
• Prepare cost reports and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data accuracy.
• Monitor inventory levels and valuation.
• Present financial reports to senior management.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Supervise and mentor cost accounting team.
• Identify process automation opportunities.

Qualifications of the Cost Accounting Manager:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
• Cost accounting experience
• Manufacturing industry experience is required; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP and accounting software.
• Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance.
