Community School Director - Bi-lingual Spanish

Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and families through education and social services? Do you have the skills and experience to lead and manage community-based programs? If so, you might be the ideal candidate for our Community School Director position.

As a Community School Director, you will be in charge of the daily operations of one of our community schools, which are public schools that offer a variety of services and opportunities for students, families, and community members. Your main duties will include:

• Creating and implementing a strategic vision and plan for the school that aligns with our mission and goals
• Supervising and supporting a team of staff, including social workers, youth workers, health educators, and others
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with the school principal, teachers, parents, and external stakeholders
• Managing the budget and ensuring compliance with contracts and grants
• Evaluating the impact and outcomes of the programs and services offered at the school
• Representing the school and its programs in various forums and networks

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• At least five years of experience in managing community-based programs, preferably in a school setting
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
