Assistant Preschool Teacher, 2 days per week

We are looking for an Assistant Teacher for our art and nature based Summer Camp! We teach children ages 3-7 and use art in our daily curriculum to teach in a way where learning occurs naturally. We bring in special instructors each day and give the children opportunities to express themselves through art, dance, music and nature exploration on our surrounding trail system. Art’s natural creativity inspires students of all ages and our small class size allows us to get creative with projects! We are looking for someone to teach in the mornings and/or afternoons.

We will train the right candidate in our preschool educational methods as well as how to engage the children. Teachers are welcome to bring their own children with them free of charge. The preschoolers are so much fun to teach because they get so excited to learn and they are so proud of the art they create! We get outside and experience nature year-round and during the summer, we incorporate even more outdoor education into our days. Our goal is to introduce children to a social, learning environment and really inspire the love of art and leaning.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
