Job Title: Recovery Support Staff

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Must be on the floor with residents’ except when engaged in administrative duties. Ensures all money, metro cards, and vouchers are in order and that the procedures for turning over the house are followed.
• De-escalates situations with residents as problems arise on floor and/or when interaction is needed.
• Oversees and ensures that all residents are participating in all scheduled activities and services (when groups are in progress room runs must be done).
• Follows up when residents have lost their privileges (L.O.P’s) or have their assigned Learning Experiences (L.E.’s) and see that L.O.P’s and L.E.’s are carried out as directed. Also monitor residents on house containment and speaking bans.
• Reports to primary counselor and facility nurse; health problems of residents and relays such information to the director, assistant director and clinical team.
• Reports specific incidents and submits an incident report to Assistant Director and/or Program Director.
• Participates in staff development groups, feedback meetings, staff trainings and other meetings and groups as assigned.
• Assist with quarantine residents and follows the Quarantine Protocols.

Other requirements:

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the program. To include nights & weekends.
