Crane Coffee is Hiring a Cashier/Barista Near Charlotte, NC
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious coffee beverages. If you have a passion for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, following recipes and quality standards - Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area - Ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and supplies for coffee preparation - Assist with food preparation, such as sandwiches or pastries, as needed - Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing any concerns - Operate various equipment, including espresso machines and grinders - Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations Experience: - Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required - Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills - Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately - Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different types of coffee beverages - Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods - Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team of passionate individuals who are dedicated to providing exceptional coffee experiences.
