Crane 1 Services, Inc. is Hiring a Shop Technician Near Castle, PA
- Use hand tools to disassemble equipment.
- Test electrical values of magnets.
- Record test results.
- Rebuild and Assemble magnets.
- Test new and rebuilt equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Assemble and test our diesel generator systems. This will include installation of the diesel engine into the enclosures, engine harnesses and interconnecting wiring & magnet lift / drop controls.
- Move equipment and products as needed using overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Package equipment for shipment to customers.
- KNOWLEDGE: Minimum of (2-3) years (s) of assembly, troubleshooting and disassembly experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
- SKILLS:
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools.
- Ability to test electrical values of magnets via handheld Ohm and Megohm meters.
- Ability to use overhead cranes.
- Ability to operate forklifts.
- Ability to perform mechanical work associated with small engine maintenance and repair. To include electrical troubleshooting of small engine systems.
- Ensure we maintain a professional, safe, productive, and compliant work environment.
