Crane 1 Services, Inc. is Hiring a Draftsman (Mechanical Designer) Near Castle, PA
- Supports engineers in the creation of projects by reading and interpreting project plans
- Works with engineers and design team to ensure model accuracy, design, drafting standards, engineered mechanical drawings, bill of materials, and ECN/ECR documentation
- Works collaboratively with all internal and external groups to meet our customers’ needs
- Provides multi-view drawings utilizing AutoCAD software with minimal supervision and provides technical support
- 2 years of AutoCAD experience
- Associates degree in drafting, engineering technology, or similar field of study
- Knowledge of assembly, welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, strength of materials, and lifting mechanics helpful
- Overhead Crane Industry experience, highly desired
- Able to work within tight deadlines in a team environment
- Hands-on work environment preferred
- Drawing archiving experience
- Proficient in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor
- Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, MS Project
