The Sourcing Specialist (Print, Displays and POS) for the Beer, Wine and Spirits team will focus on sourcing POS displays, racks and printed items through domestic suppliers. The person must be experienced in design and construction of wood, metal and corrugated displays. These can be simple pole toppers, three case racks to large WOW displays. We want a person who understands the process and has worked with suppliers in this vertical and use this knowledge and experience to grow the business.

This role will have a hybrid work schedule as travel to client offices in the NYC area is required a minimum of 1x per week.
Responsibilities
  • Management of strategic sourcing and suppliers/factories development POS, displays and print for BWS team
  • Understanding of production capacities, lead-times, and shipping timeframes and ability to negotiate all of them
  • Obtaining quotes from different suppliers and onboard new suppliers
  • Maintain current knowledge of these product categories, material and new or potential products
  • Ability to collect and analyze all cost-related factors including design; sampling; invoices; freight, duties and taxes; 3rd party testing; inspections, and any other direct acquisition costs
  • Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Assessing quotes and compiling a detailed assessment of cost breakdowns
  • Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection
  • Providing solutions to improve spending
  • Provides regular and timely responses and updates to internal stakeholders, with an emphasis on sales teams and product development
  • Works directly with sales team to manage pricing and production of products
  • Regulatory and customer compliance experience and shipping knowledge, such as classification; packaging; marking; and labeling
  • Maintains production schedules for timely rollout of product production and delivery

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in marketing, communications, business or relevant field preferred
  • 5 years of work experience in sales, corporate marketing and/or promotional products industry preferred
  • 2 years sourcing experience in sourcing Premiums within the Beer, Wine and Spirits industry required
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business documents
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and effectively present information to and respond to internal/external contacts and management
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Great communicator and listener in-person, over phone, email, and videoconference
  • Strong work ethic, with a good humored with a positive "can do" attitude
  • Values curiosity, creativity, inclusive teams, and achieving results
  • Problem solver that is comfortable making judgment calls
  • Loves learning by providing, receiving and responding positively to constructive feedback
  • Detail oriented and strong organizational skills; motivated by deadlines
  • Able to work additional hours when required
Compensation range is specific to the job level and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: education, experience, licensure, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. The range has been created in good faith based on information known to HALO at the time of the posting and does not include any potential benefits, however, such information will be provided separately when appropriate. The estimated base salary range for this position is between $65,000 to $75,000 USD.
