Description
We are actively looking for an attentive and results-oriented IT Manager who is deeply committed to fostering excellence in Technical Operations and employee satisfaction. In this critical role within our IT organization, we require an individual with a demonstrated track record in overseeing comprehensive IT operations and service delivery, coupled with a strong focus on prioritizing and enhancing the customer and staff experience. Collaborating with external vendors and cross-functional leaders, the IT Manager will spearhead strategic initiatives to foster organizational growth and scalability. Reporting directly to the Head of Production, the ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a remarkable ability to manage multiple priorities in our dynamic IT and operations environment, all while embodying a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day to day IT operations, service delivery and performance 
• Provide broad, proactive leadership and support through planning and project management/coordination
• Ensuring a positive employee experience that is predictable in terms of both technology and service by leveraging internal resources and vendor partners 
• Play a key role in creating and defining IT-related policies, processes, and procedures that are based on industry best practices
• Provide management and oversight of external Managed Service Provider 
• Lead the procurement efforts of IT hardware and software and deployments of MAC/PCs
• Implement an IT asset inventory control and tagging system
• Periodically assess and evaluate business applications to reduce redundancies as well as identify areas for firm-wide capability enhancements/modernization
• Work closely with security vendors to identify risks and implement enhancements
• Help define and implement data retention and archiving policies

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to technical and non-technical team members as well as executive-level audiences
• Experience managing, configuring, and administering Google Workspace, Google MyDrive, and Google Share Drive Data Environments, as well as O365
• Strong interpersonal skills to resolve problems in a professional manner as well as participate in working groups
• Ability to handle multiple priorities as well as establish and meet deadlines
• Experience defining, planning, and overseeing IT projects and budgets. Ideally, experience managing multiple projects within the IT project portfolio
• Excellent problem-solving skills, as well as a willingness to create documentation of IT-related activities, processes, and procedures
• Bachelor's Degree in IT or related field
• 6 years of related experience with recent experience leading/managing IT functions at an organization 
• Experience working in an architectural or related design firm is a plus
