We are seeking an EDM Operator/Programmer to join our team.

We are a manufacturer located in the Newport News, Virginia area and we have an opening available for an Wire EDM Setup/Operator with any experience in a job shop environment.

Responsibilities

Setup, adjust and operate Wire EDM to cut parts to hold close tolerances and finish requirements.

Perform and record quality checks to ensure part conformance.

Debur and clean parts and gage parts

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Run quality Product within required efficiency requirements.

Keep work area clean and orderly.

Maintain acceptable quality levels.

Qualifications

Experience is required operating a wire EDM, must be able to setup, program and operate a wire EDM machine without supervision or with little supervision.

Strong troubleshooting skills

Team Player

Assist in Machine Maintenance

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
