Our growing company in York, SC is looking for an ambitious and organized individual with strong attention to detail to serve as our Accounting Assistant that will focus on Accounts Receivable. This person will also be responsible for answering customer calls and calling customers for payment inquiries, great customer service is a MUST! The position will be mainly an Accounts Receivable position, but potential employee must be willing to assist with Accounts Payable, other accounting and office tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:

· Invoice entry, printing and mailing for multiple companies.

· Posting deposits to customer accounts.

· Running bank deposits using remote deposit system.

· Accounts receivable collections inquires of past due accounts.

· Processing weekly collection reports.

· Monthly statement printing & mailing.

· Responsible for answering incoming calls.

· Ability to pick up mail from Post Office daily.

· Online ordering and off site purchasing of office and shop supplies.

· Credit card reconciliations.

· Preparation of expense reports for Accounts Payable.

· Assisting Account Payable with freight invoice matching.

Requirements:

· Strong analytical & mathematical skills.

· Valid Driver’s license for running errands.

· Knowledge of Excel, Word and general business software.

· High School diploma required.

· Associates Degree preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
