Enhancements Installation Crew Member 

Full-Time Opportunity 

Alpharetta, GA – North Branch 

Summary:

As a Landscape Laborer for Crabapple LandscapExperts, you will be responsible for executing on-site, day-to-day aspects of landscape construction including softscape and excavation projects with the guidance of your foreman. 

Duties:

• Execute tasks as instructed by the Foreman.
• Build landscape features such as lawns, gardens, driveways, paths, and other softscape features. 
• Grade and shape soils utilizing hand tools.
• Perform planting of large trees, shrubs, perennials, and sod. 
• Effectively operate various tools safely and responsibly.
• Assist in non-softscape activities including lite masonry.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning daily.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, job sites, and shop/yard areas.
• Perform work activities safely and efficiently, and ensure crew members follow required PPE standards. 
• Attend all required safety, skill, and leadership development training.
• Comply with all company policies and regulations.

Work Conditions:

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through an entire work shift

• Flexible working hours including occasional weekend work

Work Conditions / Essential Functions: 

• Will be required to work in a non-climate-controlled environments
• Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods 
• Manual, labor-intensive position, requiring lifting of up to 60 lbs. 
• Travel to and work at various locations including both residential and commercial projects
• Flexible working hours, including overtime and occasional weekend work – Typical workday begins at 6:30 AM
• Required to work with and around heavy equipment and other vehicles regularly

Requirements

• Interest in the landscape construction industry in either softscape or hardscape. 
• Carry and use a smartphone or data-enabled device for communication and reporting.
• 2-3 years experience in the landscape construction industry in either hardscapes or softscapes
• Possess a Valid Driver’s License and Acceptable MVR for business travel if working in a Driver’s Role 
• Must have the ability to complete the physical requirements of a landscape construction role requiring manual labor and lifting of up to 60 lbs. in a non-climate-controlled environment.
