Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct various types of surveys including Department of Transportation (DOT), boundaries, right-of-way (ROW), easement acquisition, and ALTA surveys.
• Engage in construction staking and stakeout operations for contractors in Illinois.
• Write precise descriptions for surveying tasks and ensure proper documentation.
• Certify and stamp surveys, demonstrating professional accountability.
• Collaborate with field crews and provide guidance to Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT) personnel.

Manage survey tasks from inception through completion, adapting to both busy periods and regular flow.

Requirements:

• Current PLS licensure; dual licensure in Illinois is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D; Civil 3D proficiency is preferred.
• Solid understanding and practical knowledge of 3D surveying techniques.
• Willingness to work outdoors and participate in fieldwork alongside the crew.
• Demonstrable multitasking skills and the ability to work on diverse projects.
