We are partnering with an innovative local company in Syracuse, NY that is looking to bring on a new Accounting Clerk. This company has a great team atmosphere and opportunities for growth! This is a Temp-To-Hire opportunity paying $20-22/hr, depending on experience and the team is looking to start someone immediately!

As an Accounting Clerk, you will:

• Perform complex clerical, bookkeeping, and accounting assignments (including both A/P and A/R)

• Sort through customer invoices, taking care of any changes/corrections that will need to be made to the invoice

• Process credit card payments and perform credit checks as needed

• Process expense reports, match purchase orders with invoices, and maintain proper documentation

• Code A/P to correct General Ledger accounts and input into Peachtree

Background Profile for an Accounting Clerk:

• 2 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

• Previous experience with Peachtree is a plus!

• Advanced Excel skills (IF/THEN statements, SUMIF, IFERROR, etc.)

• High School Diploma/GED required; Associates degree preferred

Compensation for this Accounting Clerk is $20-22/hr, and is Temp-To-Hire!
