Seeking attorney interested in a career in criminal prosecution while working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Opportunity to litigate all phases of criminal cases, including:

  • Advising law enforcement on criminal investigations;
  • Charging criminal cases;
  • Representing the State in court;
  • Seeking justice for victims;
  • Negotiating plea agreements;
  • Jury trials;
  • Appeals.

Cowlitz County is a medium-sized county in southwest Washington that offers many beautiful lakes, rivers, and access to Mt. St. Helens. Our county is located on the I-5 corridor bordering the Columbia River and is located 45 minutes north of Portland.

Opportunity to handle misdemeanor or felony cases with salary ranging from $78,912 - $135,036, depending on experience. If interested, please submit application, resume, cover letter, and writing sample.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Law degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Admission to Washington State Bar Association.
