Job Description
The Cow Creek Band of The Umpqua Tribe of Indians is currently seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Full-Time position. This is not a Remote Job. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our community members through nutrition education and counseling.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct individual assessments to determine nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to individuals and groups on healthy eating habits.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of meal plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients with complex nutritional needs.
- Stay current on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote healthy eating and lifestyle choices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, nutrition, or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Dietitian from the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a dietitian in a clinical or community setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of nutritional assessment tools and dietary guidelines.
