COVEY is Hiring a Community Support Specialist Near Oshkosh, WI
- Maintain program procedures and guidelines that support the highest quality standards that align with Covey’s Mission and Core Values.
- Identify and evaluate risks associated with the program and take steps to control these risks.
- Facilitate program offerings that focus on developing the following skills: Independent Living Skills, Mobility Skills, Social/Emotional and Personal Development, Communication Skills, Community Access and Integration
- Develop, assess, and track participant goals and create progress reports in participant database.
- Build and maintain a trusting and positive relationship with participants, their support system and the community at large.
- Follow all communication guidelines as outlined by program procedures.
- Participate in efforts to strengthen and build partnerships with local organizations.
- Pass prescribed medication to participants per their ISP.
- Provide transportation to participants as needed or directed.
- All Covey employees are mandated reporters. If abuse and/or neglect is suspected contact the Program Director.
- Other duties as assigned.
