Role: Data Technical Product Manager

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Duration: long term

• Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our data products and solutions. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and define product priorities.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business users, data engineers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements. This includes defining user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria to guide product development.
• Product Planning: Create detailed product plans, including feature prioritization, release planning, and resource allocation. Work closely with engineering teams to estimate effort, define timelines, and track progress towards product milestones.
• Product Development: Lead the execution of product development initiatives, working closely with engineering teams to ensure that product features are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This includes reviewing design documents, providing feedback, and resolving issues as they arise.
• Product Launch: Coordinate product launches and go-to-market activities, including preparing marketing collateral, conducting product demonstrations, and training sales and support teams. Ensure smooth rollout of new features and products to customers.
• Product Performance: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, including usage, adoption, and customer satisfaction. Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and optimization.
• Customer Engagement: Engage with customers regularly to gather feedback, understand pain points, and validate product ideas. Act as a customer advocate within the organization, representing their needs and priorities in product discussions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and support, to ensure alignment and collaboration across all stages of the product lifecycle.
• Knowledge of machine learning and AI technologies, including model development and deployment.
• analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple and intuitive product solutions.
• Experience with data visualization tools and platforms, such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience in industries such as e-commerce, or retail, where data-driven decision-making is critical.
