Pankratz Eye Institute, Located in in Columbus, IN, is currently seeking a Director of Nursing to join our dedicated team.

About the Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Site Administrator, the Director of Nursing plays a crucial role in supporting the management of clinical operations at the Center. With a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a cost-effective manner, the Director of Nursing collaborates closely with the Site Administrator to uphold these standards.

About the Candidate

• Previous health care leadership experience preferred.
• Previous clinical experience in surgery or procedure healthcare including demonstrated knowledge of sterile technique, working with anesthetized patients, and other clinical situations found in a surgical or procedural setting.
• Able to use personal computer, Microsoft Office Suite applications, and e-mail / calendar functions for day-to-day activities.
• Possess a working knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment impacting ASC’s, and the applicable standards of the AAAHC, The Joint Commission, and other regulatory bodies for ambulatory surgery centers.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with management, physicians, and all medical professionals.
• Holds current clinical license, registration, or certification in good standing by the applicable authority.
• Baccalaureate degree or equivalent experience in the field of nursing, or related field preferred.
