Overview

As a Tractor Technician I, you will perform maintenance and repairs on class 8 equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on class 8 equipment within employee current skill level.
• Inspect equipment during the repair process to determine if additional repairs are necessary.
• Employee may perform other related duties as required to meet the ongoing needs of Covenant Transport Services.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Own the tools required to perform the position responsibilities of this level excluding those provided by the company
• Understand, communicate, read, and write the English language
• Ability to Lift 50 lbs. on a consistent basis and 95 lbs. on a frequent basis to mount tires

Education and Experience

• Valid driver's license required

Covenant's compensation philosophy's intent is to use a competitive total compensation strategy to determine the current market value of a position while also considering individual factors such as performance in current position, time in seat of current position, experience, level of responsibility / accountability, and longevity with the company.

The system will be objective and non-discriminatory.

Pay Range : $41,496.00-$62,244.00

Pay Grade : CTGL12
