Care Attendant Responsibilities:

• Provide assistance with light housekeeping and create a comfortable living space.
• Assist residents with daily activities like walking, showers, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and orderly environment, including laundry and bed making.
• Be a crucial part of emergency response and resident calls for aid.
• Opportunity for training as a medication technician to enhance your skill set.
• Cross-training to work in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written, English) with residents and staff.
• Genuine compassion and patience for senior adults.
• Home Health Aide or Nursing Assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
