POSITION REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of two years of experience providing residential housekeeping services
• General knowledge of cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations.
• Supportive of CHF Mission and have general understanding of “at-risk” youth
• Able to effectively communicate (oral and written) with all employees, contractors, and vendors.
• Able to lift 30 lbs., bend and stretch
• Must have valid Florida Driver’s License and good driving record
• Must be able to pass local and federal background checks upon hire, and annually
• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including weekends, occasional holidays, and during designated special events or agency functions

WORK SCHEDULE: Sunday to Thursday 5:30am to 2:00pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work individually on assigned floors, and common areas, to maintain a clean and safe physical plant and grounds to ensure a clean, orderly and well-functioning environment in compliance with agency standards.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
• Continuously seek and make improvements to the overall building and facility, including (but not limited to) performing tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, stripping and changing bed linens, washing windows, trash removal, and other general cleaning.
• Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
• Clean bathrooms, including bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using clothes, mops, sponges, or brushes.
• Collect, wash, and fold laundry. Distribute fresh towels and bed linens to residential floors and Intake.
• Assist with deep cleaning of building, as directed by Operations Manager.
• Meet all agency training requirements and licensing standards by completing all required training. Attend agency meetings as scheduled.
• Perform other housekeeping related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
• Must be able to occasionally exert up to 15-20 pounds of force to lift or carry. Must frequently move about both indoors and outdoors.
