Cove Haven Resort is Hiring a Lobby Attendant Near Lakeville, PA

Cove Haven Resort is searching for a Dedicated and Enduring Lobby Attendant at the Illustrious Couples Resort located in Lakeville, PA. Candidates must have experience in cleaning/servicing public areas, preferably 1 Year of experience in the hospitality service industry. The ideal candidate will put pride in their work, be reliable, and be friendly and professional at all times.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Responsibilities:

To clean and maintain all public areas (i.e. hotel lobby, restrooms) in impeccable condition, in accordance with hotel standard.

Essential Functions:

  • Thoroughly cleans sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, countertops, walls vents and floors with specifically assigned cleaning agents. Disposes of trash.
  • Dusts all furniture and pictures, cleans all windows and glass, and vacuums public areas.
  • Vacuums and disposes of trash in office areas.
  • Polishes fixtures and vacuum elevators.
  • Maintains a vacuumed appearance in stairwells.
  • Cleans ashtrays.
  • Cleans guest rooms when needed.
  • Assists delivering guest requests.

In addition to these essential functions, the Lobby Attendant must be able to constantly walk, stand, and be able to push a cart. Housekeepers are also required to adhere to safety and security procedures that are set forth by the company.

Specific Skills and Abilities:

  • Attend all mandatory meetings.
  • Report all suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to Safety/Security Department.
  • Provide general public assistance, instruction and/or guidance for guests and employee safety in the event of an emergency.
  • Complete all other duties assigned by supervisor, to include cross training.
  • Keep work area neat and organized.

Qualifications:

Education

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

Experience

Previous experience preferred.

Licenses or Certificates

Valid PA State issued Driver’s License. CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.

Grooming

All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Other

Bi-lingual language ability (English/Spanish) preferred.
