This position will work in the Office of Recovery and Resiliency which is responsible for the administration of $328.9 million in CDBG-DR funding. Primary responsibilities for this position will be advanced technical and administrative work directing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the department’s system of record (SOR)/computerized business systems. This is a fast-paced work environment.

• Configuring Systems of Records (SOR) solution to meet programs needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems (Ex: OnBase) and managing any customizations or additional development as required.
• Understand the user requirements, communicating these to the SOR provider and ensuring that the solution meets the user expectations. 
• Analyzing the existing process and advising on how the SOR solution can be effectively implemented and configured to enhance operational efficiency and compliance. 
• Collaborating with users to define the system requirements, success metrics, and ensuring the SOR solution is configured and deployed successfully to meet the criteria. 
• Overseeing the configuration, testing and validation of the SOR solution to ensure it meets the functional and compliance requirements. 
• May design and prepare reports and provide analytics.
• Identifying and recommending process improvements, ensuring the SOR solution is utilized effectively to address operational challenges.
• Reporting on the status of the SOR solution implementation, addressing change requests, and assessing the feasibility of any additional system enhancements or integrations.
• Plans, directs, and supervises subordinate staff.
• Develops training programs to ensure staff is proficient in using and managing the SOR system.
• May be assigned to other county locations based upon operational needs.
• Attends work on a regular and consistent basis.
• Must adhere to federal, state, county, and local ordinances.
• Responds to emergency situations.
• Performs other duties as assigned. 

Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience as a programmer analyst. 

A comparable amount of education, training, or experience may be substituted for the minimum
 qualifications.

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License at time of hire.

Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License within 30 days of hire.

• Knowledge of computer programming and configuring.
